FactCheck.org : Obama ‘Road’ Film Takes Some Detours: The Obama campaign on March 15 released “The Road We’ve Traveled,” a 17-minute film narrated by actor Tom Hanks and directed by Davis Guggenheim — two of the best in their fields. Guggenheim directed the 2006 documentary “Inconvenient Truth” about former Vice President Al Gore’s efforts to educate the public about climate change. Hanks and Guggenheim, however, ignore some inconvenient truths in the campaign video that otherwise would muddy its can-do narrative about President Obama and his administration.
