Bill Clinton Throws Smelly, Rotten Party: Bill Clinton threw a star-studded fundraising party in England, and the guests, who were charged up to £1,000 for a ticket, hated it. With celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow, Joan Collins, supermodel Lily Cole, Princess Beatrice and will.i.am. as bait, Clinton’s party benefiting his own Foundation’s Millennium Network failed to impress.
Held at The Old Vic Tunnels in Waterloo, the event featured Clinton speaking for two minutes about climate change. And to top it off, the guests, who said the venue smelled badly, got a real-life demonstration of climate change: one guest said, “We arrived, there was perspiration dripping off the walls …” Good thing Clinton wasn’t speaking on teenage pregnancy.
