Obama’s Eligibility: Why the hush-hush? | Conservative-Women.com: There is perhaps no greater honor – no greater position of responsibility – than that of President of theUnited States of America. The qualifications for this grand tribute are clearly spelled out in Article Two (Section 1 – Clause 5) of the Constitution:

“No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.”


In summary, the President and Vice President must comply with the following three requirements by the time they are inaugurated:


Natural born citizen
35 years old or older
14 years or more as a resident within the United States


Subsequent amendments to the Constitution modified the requirements for the offices of President and Vice President:


The Twelfth Amendment (1804) required that the Vice President meet all the same qualifications as for President
The Twenty-second Amendment (1951) limited a President to being elected only twice


Patriots have questioned Obama’s eligibility since the 2008 presidential campaign, but GOP leaders say they are waiting on proof to the contrary. Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Maricopa Countyand his Cold Case Posse proved that the long form birth certificate released by President Obama as his validation of the requirement to be a natural born citizen is a false document – a forgery. Yet the GOP says they are waiting on proof.


There have been many court cases from military leaders and private citizens questioning Obama’s eligibility, but the cases are thrown out due to lack of standing (in essence that the complainants have no right to question Obama’s eligibility). Still the GOP says they are waiting on proof.


Patriotic citizens demand the truth, but still the GOP waivers. We sign petition after petition to persuade our elected officials to dig into the truth, but to no avail.


In response to a New Jersey ballot challenge, Obama’s lawyer, Alexandra Hill, admitted Obama’s birth certificate is a forgery, but countered that his legal qualifications did not make a difference, only his political popularity.
