Homeowner 3, Bad Guys 0: This past weekend, a family in Sacramento, California was a having a sleepover. A little after 3:00 am, several armed intruders broke into the home. Their mistake was that they picked the wrong house.
The homeowner had a gun and knew how to use it. He used his gun to protect his family and the other kids that were there for the sleepover. He drove the intruders outside where a gun battle ensued. Local police were called to a report of gun shots being fired. When they arrived, they found one intruder dead and the homeowner with non-life threatening wounds. Later that day, a second intruder was arrested and found to have been wounded in the gun battle. There may have been a third intruder involved since another young man showed up at a local hospital with a gunshot wound.
