Former Dem Gov: “The good thing about Newtown is, it was so horrific”: If you still think the Left really cares about “the children,” especially in light of the Newtown, Connecticut shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School, all you need to do is see the glee they display in pushing their agenda against guns and the Second Amendment. The latest example of this is former Governor Ed Rendell (D-PA). Listen to the way that Rendell is a bit giddy in stating, “The good thing about Newtown is, it was so horrific that I think it galvanized Americans to a point where the intensity on our side is going to match the intensity on their side.”
