Barbara Boxer Denounces GOP Benghazi Investigation, Praises Hillary Clinton: California Senator Barbara Boxer denounced Republicans for investigating the terror attacks in Benghazi and praised Hillary Clinton for her reaction to the incidents.

Boxer took the Senate floor on Tuesday and labeled the House Select Committee on Benghazi a “sham,” a “political witch-hunt,” a “kangaroo court,” and a “waste of taxpayer dollars.” She also suggested that Republicans were only concerned with hurting former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton ahead of the 2016 elections.

“We don't need to spend money on another committee because someone is afraid of Hillary Clinton's candidacy,” she said. “Just deal with it, okay? Don't try to revise history.”
