Hollywood Finally Takes Stand Against Sharia Law: The iconic Beverly Hills Hotel has been the location for a lavish A-list Night Before Oscar party since 2003. Those days are over now that Hollywood has taken a rare and righteous stand against the horrors of Sharia Law.
The Beverly Hills Hotel is owned by the Dorchester Collection, which is owned by the Sultan of Brunei. Brunei is a smallish Islamic country in Southeast Asia that, according to the Hollywood Reporter, recently enacted laws "that call for violent punishment, including amputation and death by stoning, against those engaging in same-sex activity and extramarital sexual relations and those committing adultery."
