Egypt Sentences Top Muslim Brotherhood Leader To Life In Prison: Mohamed Badie, the Supreme Guide of the Muslim Brotherhood, has been sentenced to life in prison, stemming from charges that he was responsible for countless murders and violent acts during riots in Cairo last year.

The trial was known as the Bahr al-Azam case, which surrounds an alleged incident where Badie and accomplices were convicted of murdering five and attempting to kill over one-hundred more.
