Mad World NewsDHS: We Can't Stop ISIS From Coming To The US: The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) made a statement that has even the staunch supporters of an open Mexican border shaking their heads. DHS admits they can’t stop ISIS from coming to the US.
DHS held a quiet press conference prior to September 11th that was missed by most major news sources.
In the press conference with the Associated Press, DHS officials warned they do not have a full grasp on the amount of Americans and Europeans going over seas to Syria to train with ISIS, so in turn, they can not stop them from coming back to the United States.
The head of the House Homeland Security Committee called the new data worrisome. The DHS testified to the following before the committee:
“We don’t have a fulsome picture in all cases,” said Jennifer Lasley, a deputy undersecretary at the Department of Homeland Security.
“It does concern us,” added Troy Miller, an acting assistant commissioner with US Customs and Border Protection. ~New York Post
