Braintree Hospital Isolates Patient with Ebola-Like Symptoms - Massachusetts news - Boston.com: A patient with Ebola-like symptoms is being taken to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, according to Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates. During a press conference outside of Beth Israel, officials said the patient will undergo an evaluation to determine whether Ebola is a possible cause of the patient’s symptons.
According to Harvard Vanguard, the patient had recently traveled to Liberia and came to the facility complaining of headache and muscle aches.
Joe Zanca of the Braintree Fire Department told The Boston Globe “Ebola protocol is in place.”
