Busted! Democrat senator’s husband steals GOP signs: Police in Middletown, Delaware, say the husband of Democrat state Sen. Bethany Hall-Long is the man seen on video stealing dozens of Republican campaign signs.
Dana Armon Long has been charged with a Class A misdemeanor for theft under $1,500. He faces up to one year in prison and a fine of up to $2,300.
Republican campaign workers sprang into action when they realized someone was stealing political signs highlighting Delaware’s economy and urging residents to vote for Republican candidates. Some of the signs read “Fix the Economy! Vote Republican.”
