Michelle Obama Radio Ad for Davis Implies Incorrect Bio Info: AUSTIN, Texas -- State Senator Wendy Davis has a new radio ad recorded by First Lady Michelle Obama in support of her campaign for Texas Governor, and the script of the ad comes close to suggesting previous misrepresentations Davis was caught making about her life story.
The one-minute ad features Obama touting how Davis has made education "a top priority because she wants to give all our kids a chance to build a better life for themselves and for their families," and describes her as someone who "knows something about the American Dream."She was the daughter of a single mother and by age 19 she was a mother herself. But Wendy worked hard. She went on to college and Harvard Law School," Obama says. "So, Wendy Davis knows the power of education."
