New Texas Ebola Case: Worker Wore Protective Gear: A patient care provider for Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital caught the Ebola virus despite wearing full protective clothing. The new Ebola patient was wearing a gown, gloves, mask and shield while providing health care services for Thomas Eric Duncan during his second visit to the hospital.
During a press conference held Sunday morning at the hospital, Dr. Daniel Varga from Texas Health Presbyterian said the health care worker reported a fever Friday night during their self-monitoring process according to an article at Boston.com.
