Obama Just Forced Wal-Mart To Do Something “Evil”, Here We Go: In a move to combat the rising cost of healthcare due to Obama’s Affordable Care Act, Wal-Mart has decided it will eliminate health insurance coverage for some of its part-time employees.
This move will affect over 30,000 employees that work less than 30 hours per week for the large retail chain. “We had to make some tough decisions,” said Sally Wellborn, Wal-Mart’s senior vice president of benefits.

Wal-Mart has made several efforts in an attempt to make healthcare under The Affordable Care act work for their company. Unfortunately it is just too expensive. And the costs just keep going up. Wal-Mart is not the first company to cut benefits in such a manner. Home Depot, Target, Trader Joe’s and several more have done the same.
Investors.com wrote, “If a retail empire built on low prices can’t find a way around Obamacare’s added costs, we are all doomed,”. I think they are absolutely right.
