A Kansas City Police Captain was shot just before 2 p.m. while responding to an armed disturbance at Second Street and Edgerton Drive.
Officers responded to a call of shots being fired in the area of Second Street and Edgerton Drive. Upon arrival Officers found several suspects fleeing a vehicle. One was apprehended almost immediately.
