Robot to begin patrolling Los Angeles mall
Robot to begin patrolling Los Angeles mall: One mall in Los Angeles is looking towards the future when it comes to security. A robot will soon begin regular patrols at The Bloc. It is expected to begin its work in two weeks. The robot was first introduced to the public over the weekend. "We really like the fact that this is kind of on the cutting edge of technology. It's picking up video footage. It's picking up Mac addresses," Dan Cote, general manager of The Bloc says. "So, it's able to pick up a lot of information that humans just aren't capable of. You want to ask when they're here? I forgot to turn if off!" See original work for more on this and other stories.
