Monday's sentencing followed many exhausted appeal attempts over her 2014 conviction of felony interfering with a contract
She was convicted of sharing confidential documents with her youth corrections officer brother Stephen Hunter after he allegedly hit a young offender in 2013
She improperly requested and passed him the documents to help him keep his job as he faced a disciplinary hearing
On Monday two dozen protesters shrieked with fury over her sentence and one protester ambushed officers to prevent them from handcuffing Hunter
Hunter seemed paralyzed with shock and was dragged out of court by officers
Elected in 2010, she was suspended in 2014 after she was indicted on eight felony counts of tampering with evidence and forgery and other charges
