Cornell Law Prof Encourages Congress to Arrest Trump Allies: Cornell Law School professor Josh Chafetz wrote in a Thursday New York Times op-ed that House Democrats should consider arresting associates of President Donald Trump and his administration officials to move forward with an impeachment inquiry.
On Tuesday, White House Counsel Pat Cipollone sent a scathing letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) stating it refuses to cooperate with Democrats’ impeachment probe, blasting it as “illegitimate” and “unconstitutional” and an attempt to “overturn the results” of the 2016 presidential election.
