Migrant Protests Close Border City Bridge into Texas: Federal authorities were forced to close traffic at an international port of entry in Brownsville, Texas, after a group of approximately 300 migrants gathered in protest after not being allowed to pass.

The incident began on Thursday shortly after 1 a.m. when a group of close to 300 migrants collected at the mid-point of the pedestrian bridge, prompting a temporary shutdown, U.S. Customs and Border Protection revealed.
