Local lawmakers call for repeal of state’s criminal justice reform: Local representatives are outraged by Governor Cuomo's criminal justice reform.
At a news confence Thursday, Assemblymen Ken Blankenbush and Mark Walczyk called for a full repeal.
They referred to the bail reform laws as "the victims abuse act".
They said it's unfair to judges, law enforcement, victims assistance organizations, district attorneys, and most importantly, victims.
The changes theyre referencing took effect January 1.
