Suffolk County Sheriff: Bail Reform Law Is An ‘Atrocity’ | WCBS Newsradio 880: The Suffolk County sheriff on Wednesday called the new bail reform law an “atrocity” for allowing potentially dangerous criminals back out into the community.

Suffolk County Sheriff Errol Toulon says what happened on Jan. 1 when the bail reform law went into effect was shocking.

“In Suffolk County, we’ve released 301 inmates back into the community – 41 of them were gang members,” he said.
