Wichita BLM protest organizer convicted of two of five charges, - KAKE: Gabrielle Griffie was arrested back in August for her role in organizing a series of Black Lives Matter protests in late July that blocked traffic in downtown Wichita and the Delano area. Wednesday she appeared before a judge on five charges, three counts of disorderly conduct and two counts of unlawful assembly. The disorderly conduct charges were dropped, however she was convicted of the two unlawful assembly charges. She faces a combined 12 months of probation. Griffie told KAKE News after her hearing, "I don't regret protesting at all. I mean, like, obviously we were out there, we had a message, we had something to say. We went and said it."
