Aircraft crashes off coast of Long Beach Island, authorities say: Authorities are responding to a glider that reportedly crashed in the water off the Jersey Shore on Thursday morning.
The glider went down around 11:30 a.m. about a mile off the coast of Long Beach Island, Ocean County Sheriff Michael Mastronardy told The Post.
It was unclear how many were people were involved.
