On Wednesday, an Indiana grandmother of five pleaded guilty to one misdemeanor charge of “parading in a Capitol building.” Grandmama became the first of over 400 people charged and waiting to be sentenced in connection with the Capitol riot. Anna Morgan-Lloyd, 49, of Bloomfield, Indiana, pleaded guilty on Wednesday during a virtual hearing before US District Judge Royce C. Lamberth. For the plea deal, the DOJ agreed to recommend 3 years probation, along with 40 hours of community service, and a fine of $500.
