No Treason Or Sedition Charges For January 6th Capitol Rioters, Report | The Daily Wire: More than 500 individuals have been arrested and charged with crimes related to the January 6th riot at the United States Capitol, but none have yet been charged with “treason” or “sedition,” despite leftists’ claims that the Capitol riots were an armed “insurrection” against the United States government.
The Associated Press noted Tuesday that, so far, Capitol riot defendants have been given an “increasing number of lesser charges,” perhaps designed to elicit guilty pleas or plea deals from the dozens of defendants awaiting trial.
