Shooting on Central Avenue kills 1, injures 2, including APD officer
Shooting on Central Avenue kills 1, injures 2, including APD officer: One person is dead and two others are injured, including a police officer, after a shooting in downtown Albuquerque.
Around 2:30 a.m. Saturday, Albuquerque police were alerted to a shooting on Central Avenue near 7th Street via Shot Spotter.
According to Chief Harold Medina, as an APD officer started to head in that direction, he started taking fire. He was injured from glass after a bullet hit his windshield.
