CCPD OFFICER SHOT IN THE LINE OF DUTY – CCPD Blotter: At approximately 2:14 pm on August 4, 2021, officers were dispatched to a call on the 5900 block of Weber for a disturbance in progress.
During the investigation, the subject started shooting at the officer. The officer was struck multiples times, causing severe injuries.
Senior Officer Manuel Dominguez sustained major injuries but is in stable condition and being treated at a local hospital. Our thoughts and prayers are with Officer Dominguez and his family as he recovers from his injuries.
