LA councilwoman is condemned for accepting $1,100 donation from lobbyist to help pay for a BOOB JOB | Daily Mail Online: El Monte Councilwoman Victoria Martinez Muela is facing criticism after she allegedly failed to report a $1,100 gift from a lobbyist
The gift was paid directly to cosmetic surgeon Dr. Daniel Casper and was put towards the cost of Martinez Muela's breast augmentation surgery
The payment was a gift from the councilwoman's longtime friend Sigrid Lopez, who also worked as a lobbyist at the time
The pair claim the gift was purely an act of friendship and played no role in Martinez Muela's political decisions
Former mayor Andre Quintero, who submitted ethics complaints surrounding the incident, says the 'gift in question exceeded the limit provided by law'
