LAPD Union Urges NBA to Take Action After Player Allegedly Assaults Police - The Tatum Report: According to new footage released by TMZ, New Orleans Pelicans basketball player, Jaxson Hayes, was tased by police after responding to a domestic dispute complaint.
Following the arrest, the Los Angeles Police Department strongly urged NBA commissioner Adam Silver to discipline Hayes for his abrasive behavior.
On July 28, the LAPD responded to a call to investigate a domestic dispute claim. Neighbors had informed LAPD that they heard yelling and cursing from the residence where Hayes was staying.
