Man breaks into California home, rapes 8-year-old: cops: A man broke into a San Jose house and raped a child in an apparently random attack, authorities said.
Dupree Kenneth Hornsby, 24, grabbed the 8-year-old girl while she played in the Damsen Drive house the morning of Aug. 6, officials said.
Hornsby allegedly locked the door and sexually assaulted the girl, the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office said in a news release.
