Bush-era interrogation may have worked, Obama official says - CNN.com: "WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The Bush-era interrogation techniques that many view as torture may have yielded important information about terrorists, President Obama's national intelligence director said in an internal memo."

So ...

1. Prosecute the people who were responsible. make them look like they did something wrong protecting the country.
2. Make people who need to do the same thing to keep us safe afraid to do it so it won't get done.
3. Change the policy so that it can not be done again.
4. Alert the enemy of what we were doing, which was not actually hurting them to begin with so they can defend against it.

Yep, all makes sense to me, if you want to support terrorism.
