You are a "far right-wing ideologue recruited by paid organizers". So says Margarida Jorge. And she should know.
She is an activist. Plain and simple. She's a National Field Director for Health Care for America NOW! (HCAN). Prior to that, she was Organizing Director for Pro-Vote, the Missouri Progressive Vote Coalition. Pro-Vote lists as coalition partners: ACORN, ADA—Americans for Democratic Action (Missouri Chapter), NARAL Pro-Choice Missouri, MNEA Pac—Missouri National Educational Association Pac, and just about every Labor Union in the state of Missouri.
On their web page, there is a link to a page devoted to HCAN. And at the top of just about every page, is an invitation link to join their E-Activism list. They make no effort to hide the fact that they are activists.
The Web site for HCAN is just as interesting. Here is their "about us" statement:
"Health Care for America Now (HCAN) is a national grassroots campaign of more than 1,000 organizations in 46 states representing 30 million people dedicated to winning quality, affordable health care we all can count on in 2009. Our organization and principles are supported by President Obama, Vice President Biden, and more than 190 Members of Congress."
Did you get that? Grass Roots. Halos above every head. Not a recruited ideologue. Just a grass roots movement. Oh and here is their list of coalitions:
