The Oconee Leader - Healthcare debate: Hope in the government or fear of it

The Oconee Leader - Healthcare debate: Hope in the government or fear of it: "Speaking in Grand Junction, Colorado, Saturday, President Obama said the current healthcare debate is one of “hope versus fear.”

It would be worthwhile if the American people would carefully consider the message President Obama is delivering.

While the Democrats in Congress and the President continually claim that their goal is not a single-payer, socialized healthcare system, it is ridiculous to allow them to get away with lies.

We know, based on the President’s own statements in the past and our study of history, that whatever healthcare reform passes out of Congress and is signed into law by the president will, in fact, be only the first of many healthcare reforms with the ultimate goal of establishing a European-style socialized healthcare system in America.

Anyone who disputes this is too naïve to be involved in the debate or is arguing falsehoods for the sake of pushing a stealth agenda."
