The Weekly Standard: "There's one point of overlap in today's statement by Attorney General Eric Holder and tonight's by former Vice President Dick Cheney.
Holder: 'The men and women in our intelligence community ... deserve our respect and gratitude for the work they do.'
Cheney: 'The people involved deserve our gratitude.'
Cheney goes on to say, 'They do not deserve to be the targets of political investigations or prosecutions.'
Holder, by contrast, goes on to say that 'the only responsible course of action' for him to take was to make the men and women of the intelligence community targets of investigation and possible prosecution. It's the Obama administration's way of showing gratitude."
