While attempting to attack Congressman Paul Ryan’s most recent budget proposal, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney has a near-fit when presented with the fact that Democrats have repeatedly voted down Barack Obama’s own “stunt” budget proposals.
FACT: There are currently 53 Democrats who control the United States Senate. Those Democrats only need 51 votes to pass Barack Obama’s budget proposals. They have refused to do so for over 1000 days. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, a Democrat, described the Obama budget as “Dead on Arrival”. Other Democrats in Congress have described Obama budgets as nothing more than a “political stunt”.
