2 teenage girls accused of running over Kansas woman with her ca - KAKE: Two teenage girls were taken into custody after authorities say they stole a woman’s car and ran over her as they tried to escape from a foster care facility in Saline County. Undersheriff Brent Melander said the girls, ages 14 and 17, ran from the St. Francis Ministries facility west of Salina Monday evening. The teens grabbed a bag of personal items and clothing and ran out a facility buildings. The Salina Post reports that in the bag, the girls found keys to an employee's 2016 Chevrolet Trax. When they got into an employee’s vehicle, the woman jumped on the hood to try and stop them from leaving.
